When my patients say that they are using a turmeric or aloe vera soap as it’s NATURAL and CHEMICAL FREE,I wonder how to explain the hard truth to them.
Basically, nothing on planet earth is chemical free. The water(H2O) you drink and the air you breathe (O2) contain chemicals.
As humans ,we think that all man-made products are bad and anything that says NATURAL are all good. So before you believe that ,any skin care product is natural, turn the bottle around and check the ingredients list. You will be surprised to see the number of chemicals in it. And most of these brands that claim to be natural are not researched products. So they are more dangerous than the researched brands you think contain chemicals. Always remember,” A known enemy is better than an unknown friend.”
